About UsBig Springs Nursery and Tree Farms, Inc. has been in the Fraser Fir business since 1999. Fraser Firs are our specialty. We pride ourselves in delivering a quality product. Richard started working in Christmas trees when he was 13 years old, that has been 51 years! We have learned a lot over the years. We are fortunate to have Tommy, Richard's brother as the farm manager. Tommy keeps everything going! Our farms are in Ashe County, North Carolina. Some of our farms in the Big Springs Mountain area have been in the family since our original ancestor settled here in the 1870's. We pride ourselves in this fact and want to keep the farms in production for future generations. Richard and Teresa have been blessed with two handsome boys, Grant and Jordan. They are their joy and they thank God for them. Richard looks forward to teaching the boys the farm life and about the Fraser Fir business.
